This version of SurfPhotos is the brainchild of Trevor Ross, a local Gold Coast photographer.

The aim of the site is to foster and encourage photography of surf and surf related events. Photographers can upload their images and use this site to make contact with people who may be interested in buying their images. There is NO charge for this. In fact there are no charges involved with this site.

We welcome input from anybody who has an interest in surf photography

Hey guys....

I am just an old guy who shoots land and has recently developed a love of shooting from the water.

I have been involved with photography in one form or another since I was 16...

I am pretty relaxed and chilled when it comes to selling images. I don't submit to mags cos I cant be farked chasing the money... in the end it just doesnt seem worth it. ie: time + effort > return.

I sell mainly to sponsors and riders.. (everybody loves a good pic of themselves).

thats me in a nutshell..... apart from telling you about my love of long walks on the beach at sunset and a warm fire and a glass of wine. <better stop here>

sometimes one of the little kiddies lets me carry his board....
