My Weekend…

Geeze I had a bugga of a weekend….

I went to the northern end on Saturday with the idea of shooting some sweet closeouts with the hi-rises in the background (I love these shots).  I get to Nazza and open the back of the car and BAM!!!   realise I have left my camera at home…  I was fkn devoed.  So amped to shoot something..   Instead I grabbed my board and hit some sweet 2ft Nazza shories.   Showed the kiddies there how to death drop the closeouts…

Saturday arvo I clean my gear.  I had lent my housing during the week to Ray Collins (raycollinsphoto.com) and I figured I would clean the ports etc..

Sunday I get to the beach to discover I had not one but TWO cameras and no housing…  it gets worse….   After driving home and grabbing the housing I made it back to the beach and entered the water…  Cranked off the first couple of shots to discover I had no card in this camera….  Swim back in and load a card….   finally I made it back out….

I was glad I persevered because I got a quite unexpected shot of Matt Lackey (http://www.thelackeyproject.com/) A nice hollow pit stayed open long enough for Matt to sit up for a shot…  Cheers Matt….
