Say a Little Prayer!!
Righto, I need everyone from tonight to commence praying to Huey for each and every night for the next 9 nights for him to deliver something that resembles the following 3 charts.
Finally, the charts are showing some sort of light at the end of the tunnel. Yes fair to say it’s a damn long way out with respect to model reliability/accuracy, but at least there’s some general consensus between the 3 leading models that there’s some form of drought breaker on the horizon. All 3 models are alluding to the fact that we should have some form of low pressure system out near NZ longitudes, with a high pressure system squeezing up against it in some fashion from the Tasman.
Fair to say that we’d probably prefer something more alike to the GFS or EC models, with the BOM model not really producing any great quality swell from this chart below. Also worth nothing that the EC model has that damn sheep shaggin isle dissecting the fetch in two, hence at least halving any swell that could be delivered from this chart. Also worth noting that it wouldn’t take much change in the models to actually push this low completely to the east of NZ, thus banishing any swell hopes for SE Qld.
So in summary, the GFS chart is the one to pray for at this point in time. Will keep ya posted of developments. Until then, enjoy the Spring like conditions!!

desperate times call for desperate measures….perhaps a sacrifice is in order.
It's bloody Trev's new toy that's the Omen. Sacrifice that and Huey will deliver. In saying that, some interesting developments are currently being progged for Sunday/Monday off the SW tip of NZ….fingers crossed, but still a long way off.
I am a firm believer in sacrificing the wimmenz first…

unless by some miracle all this means that on friday and saturday there will be something that can be classed as surfable im not interested.

Sacrifice talk is normal at this time of year. I propose offering the burning of a shipping container full of Unit apparel to appease Huey.

I propose singing out "Mustang Huey" at the top of your lungs when you are at the beach. Hubert likes it and tends to deliver.
